Former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has accused President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike of being Nigeria’s “most dangerous” politicians. He claims they rose to power through criminality and impunity without facing consequences.
Speaking on News Central TV, Sowore strongly criticized the federal government’s decision to declare a state of emergency in Rivers State. According to him, the move is a calculated attempt to consolidate Wike’s control over the oil-rich state while sidelining Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
‘A Gang of Dangerous Men’
Sowore did not hold back in his criticism. He warned Nigerians to be cautious of the trio’s growing influence.
“There are three individuals we must watch out for, Wike, Akpabio, and Tinubu. These men have lived a life of crime and impunity, yet they keep rising without consequences,” he stated.
He further alleged that the National Assembly would do nothing to stop Tinubu’s declaration. Instead, he claimed, lawmakers would support it to serve their interests.
Bribery Allegations in the Senate
In a shocking revelation, SaharaReporters disclosed that cash was distributed at Akpabio’s guest house in Maitama, Abuja, to influence lawmakers. Sources claim 42 senators received $10,000 each on Wednesday night, while 45 others got $5,000 each on Tuesday.
