The Servant of the Most High God, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, on Saturday delivered his annual address on prophecies for Nigeria and the world at the December 2025 World Press Conference.

The event, held on December 20, 2025, brought together leaders of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, church elders, members, and representatives of various media organisations.

Opening his address, Primate Ayodele expressed gratitude to God for life and the opportunity to host another end-of-year prophetic briefing. He also appreciated media organisations and long-standing supporters, reaffirming his commitment, first made in 2004, to supporting the media in disseminating timely information.

He described the media as critical partners in ensuring focus, accountability, and consistency in the communication of prophetic messages.

Drawing from Yoruba wisdom, Primate Ayodele cited the proverb “Owe lesin oro, oro lesin owe”, explaining that proverbs give direction to words, while words give substance to proverbs. He said the saying reflects the deep link between wisdom and language, especially in communicating truth.

The cleric referenced biblical passages from the book of 1 Kings, particularly the account of Prophet Micaiah, to underscore the responsibility of speaking divine truth, even when it contradicts popular opinion.

According to him, many people prefer messages that align with their desires rather than what they described as the will of God. He said this resistance to uncomfortable truths often leads to doubt, misjudgment, and hostility toward messengers.

Primate Ayodele also spoke on issues of misinformation and misrepresentation, noting that individuals are sometimes judged not by their character but by rumours driven by envy and false narratives.

He said such falsehoods may gain temporary acceptance but would eventually be exposed, leading to regret among those who doubted the truth.

Further citing scripture from the book of 1 Kings, Primate Ayodele stressed the importance of divine revelation over human disguise or manipulation, stating that truth, according to biblical teaching, cannot be hidden from God.

The annual world press conference is known for setting the tone for Primate Ayodele’s prophecies and spiritual outlook for Nigeria, Africa, and the global community ahead of the new year.
