The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2, Adegoke Fayoade, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Ishola Olanrewaju, and several police stations as part of his 2025 Thanksgiving program.
The annual event, tagged “21 Days of Appreciation,” commenced on Sunday, January 26, 2025, with an award ceremony for church members, followed by home visits to congregants on Monday. On Wednesday, marking the fourth day of appreciation, Primate Ayodele extended his gratitude to key figures in the Lagos State Police Command.
During his visit, Primate Ayodele commended the law enforcement officers for their dedication to maintaining peace and order in the state. He praised their efforts in combating armed robbery and cultism, highlighting their relentless commitment to ensuring the safety of residents.
Speaking about the AIG Zone 2, Primate Ayodele acknowledged his remarkable achievements within a short period, describing his leadership as a blessing to Lagos State.
“Indeed, we are blessed in Lagos State to have these gallant police officers ensuring security for the people. The peace we enjoy today is a testament to their hard work, and we are grateful to God for them,” he stated.
“The AIG Zone 2 has proven to be a role model. His success within such a short time is truly commendable, further demonstrating God’s blessings upon Lagos.”
In response, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Ishola Olanrewaju, expressed gratitude to Primate Ayodele for his continuous prayers and support for the police force.
Concluding his visit, Primate Ayodele offered prayers for the officers’ protection and encouraged them to remain steadfast in their duty. He also shared a brief exhortation, emphasizing the importance of their role in upholding peace and security across the state.
