Tragedy struck on Thursday as an Air India aircraft bound for London crashed moments after takeoff, leaving a devastating scene in its wake. The aircraft, which was carrying 242 passengers, reportedly crashed into a medical school shortly after becoming airborne. So far, only one survivor has been confirmed, while the remaining passengers are feared dead. Several students at the medical facility were also among the casualties.
Footage from the incident, now widely circulated on social media, shows the plane taking off and then crashing within seconds, igniting chaos and horror on the ground.
In a striking revelation, Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, had issued a prophetic warning about such an incident just weeks before the tragedy occurred. In a video published on May 26, 2025, the spiritual leader cautioned about an impending international airline crash.
“I see an international airline plane crash. Let us be very careful about it,” Primate Ayodele warned in the now-viral clip.

The prophecy, one of many shared regularly by the Lagos-based prophet, has drawn renewed attention in light of the recent disaster.
Beyond this specific warning, Primate Ayodele had also mentioned India in his annual prophetic publication Warnings To The Nations (2024/2025 Edition). He urged the country to pray against a “terrible moment” that could lead to the death of many.
“India: Let the country rebuke state secession as I foresee that a country will pull out of them. The country must pray against a terrible moment when several people will die—a train accident, a terrible explosion, or a major crisis that will bring the country to a standstill,” he wrote.
Additionally, in his December 2024 global prophecies for 2025, Primate Ayodele again warned about air travel disasters.
“Let us pray against a helicopter crash (military or private helicopters) and a commercial airplane that will crash,” the prophecy read.
The crash of the Air India aircraft has sparked widespread mourning and international concern, while simultaneously drawing attention to the prophetic message that appears to have foreseen the tragedy.
