Ambassador Bishop Prof. Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies, has urged global stakeholders to renew their commitment to empowering girls on the frontlines of crisis. This year’s theme, “The Girl I Am, the Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis,” celebrates the courage, resilience, and leadership of girls who continue to drive change despite facing adversity.
The theme for the International Day of the Girl Child 2025 underscores the power and resilience of girls confronting crisis situations. It highlights their essential role as leaders and advocates for their rights, equality, and well-being.
