Fidelity Bank Plc has provided food relief to more than 1,500 residents in Kabuga, Kano State, to support them during Ramadan. The bank partnered with Misnoory Foundation to distribute essential food items to widows, children, and low-income families in Dala Local Government Area.

At the event, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, Divisional Head of Brands and Communications at Fidelity Bank, emphasized the bank’s dedication to social responsibility.
“We are committed to supporting vulnerable communities and reducing hunger. The Fidelity Food Bank initiative aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 2, which aims to achieve zero hunger,” Nwagboh said.
Since April 2023, the initiative has distributed over 150,000 food packs across Nigeria. The latest outreach in Kabuga focused on helping families during the Ramadan fasting period. By ensuring that essential food supplies reach those in need, the bank aims to ease the burden of fasting individuals and promote communal well-being.
