Quest Merchant Bank Limited has strengthened its track record in Nigeria’s capital markets following its role as Joint Lead Issuing House on BOI Financing SPV PLC’s ₦250 billion Series 1 Fixed Rate Bond Issuance.

The offer, which ran from August 5 to August 11, 2026, was oversubscribed, reflecting strong institutional investor appetite and confidence in the transaction.

The successful issuance further demonstrates the capacity of Nigeria’s domestic capital market to mobilise substantial long-term naira funding for productive economic activity.

The five-year bond was issued under BOI Financing SPV PLC’s US$1 billion Multi-Currency Instruments Programme and attracted broad participation from eligible investors.

The bond received AAA ratings from both Agusto & Co. and Intelligence Africa and will be listed on FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited.

As Joint Lead Issuing House, Quest Merchant Bank brought its capital markets expertise, transaction execution capabilities and institutional investor relationships to the issuance.

The bank’s role contributed to the successful mobilisation of long-term funding at scale and reinforced its ability to structure and execute sophisticated capital markets solutions that connect issuers with institutional investors.

The transaction also supports the efficient flow of capital into Nigeria’s productive economy.

Commenting on the transaction, Afolabi Olorode, Managing Director/CEO of Quest Merchant Bank Limited, said:

“This transaction goes beyond raising capital. It connects institutional investors with the real economy and creates a platform that enables Nigerian businesses to grow, invest and compete.

“We are particularly pleased to have served as a Joint Lead Issuing House for an issuance of this scale, because it demonstrates the capacity of Nigeria’s capital markets to mobilise long-term funding for productive activity.

“At Quest Merchant Bank, we are committed to structuring solutions that deliver value for issuers and investors while contributing meaningfully to the development of the Nigerian economy.”

The successful transaction underscores Quest Merchant Bank’s growing strength in Nigeria’s capital markets and its commitment to delivering innovative financing solutions for institutions seeking to access long-term capital.

Through its expertise, market relationships and deep understanding of investor requirements, Quest continues to play a meaningful role in connecting capital with opportunity and supporting the development of a deeper and more efficient Nigerian financial market.
