Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has accused Nigeria’s security chiefs of neglecting his prophetic warnings about imminent attacks, leading to deadly consequences.
Speaking on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at his church’s international headquarters in Ejigbo, Lagos, Ayodele called on President Bola Tinubu to remove security officials failing in their duties, emphasizing that the fight against terrorism and banditry requires capable leadership.
According to him, insurgents like Boko Haram should not be subjected to lengthy court proceedings but dealt with immediately upon capture, as they have no intention of repenting.
Airstrikes Needed to Crush Insurgents
The cleric urged the Department of State Services (DSS), the Chief of Defence Staff, and the Army Chief to take decisive action, including launching airstrikes, to neutralize the threats posed by terrorists and bandits.
“Nigerian military, be warned! They are planning to attack army facilities, and it will lead to casualties. The authorities must act now and carry out airstrikes against these criminal elements,” Ayodele stated.
Southwest Under Threat
The prophet further warned of impending attacks on Nigeria’s southwestern states, urging security forces to hold emergency meetings and implement drastic measures to avert disaster.
“I have been warning the Nigerian Army about an impending crisis, but they ignored me. Even when I sent a letter requesting a one-on-one meeting with the Chief of Army Staff, he disregarded it. Now, look at what has happened, three military personnel were beheaded, and another was kidnapped,” he lamented.
Ayodele insisted that the country’s security is at the mercy of God unless immediate action is taken. “Terrorists are not repenting. If we continue to handle them with levity, things will only get worse,” he added.
His remarks come amid rising concerns over insecurity in the nation, with citizens calling for more proactive measures to curb the menace of terrorism and banditry.
