Ayoola Lawal, former Secretary of the Committee of Diaspora Chairmen and ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Scandinavia, has extended his condolences to the family of the late Apostle Oloruntoba Oke, former Chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government.
A Significant Loss to APC and Ifako-Ijaiye
In his condolence message, Lawal described Oke’s passing as a profound loss, not only to his family but also to the APC in Ifako-Ijaiye and Lagos State. He acknowledged Oke’s remarkable contributions to grassroots development, his unwavering dedication to the progress of Ifako-Ijaiye, and his steadfast commitment to the party’s values.
“Apostle Toba Oke was a leader who served our constituency to the best of his abilities with passion. His legacy of service and development in Ifako-Ijaiye 01 will never be forgotten. This is indeed a great loss to our APC family and to all who knew him. My prayers and thoughts are with his family during this difficult time,” Lawal stated.

Lawal also offered prayers for strength and comfort for Oke’s family, asking the Almighty God to grant him eternal rest. He emphasized the lasting impact of Oke’s leadership and service, underscoring the deep void his passing has left within the APC and the Ifako-Ijaiye community.
