In a powerful show of solidarity, 60 support groups, representing over 120,000 members, have officially endorsed Governor Charles Soludo’s bid for a second term. The groups, united under the banner of All Soludo Support Groups (ASSG), gathered at the International Convention Centre in Awka on Thursday, presenting a generous donation of thirty million naira to fuel his re-election campaign.
Governor Soludo Reflects on Achievements and Future Vision
A visibly moved Governor Soludo expressed his gratitude, acknowledging a widespread call from community leaders, APGA stakeholders, youth, and students for him to continue his leadership. This overwhelming support, he believes, stems from the visible progress and positive changes his administration has brought to Anambra.
Soludo reaffirmed his commitment to the state’s development, vowing to continue pushing the “One State, One People, One Agenda” vision. He emphasized the importance of completing ongoing projects that have significantly improved the lives of Anambra’s residents.
Key Support Figures Pledge Continued Backing
In his address, Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, the Coordinator of the All Soludo Support Group, assured the Governor of their unwavering support as he works toward fulfilling his promises for the state.
Prominent figures, including Hon. Chief Obiajulu Nwoye of the APGA FAN Club International, Dr. Nelson Obinna Omenugha of Youth Earnestly Support Soludo (YESS), State Finance Commissioner Hon. Izuxhukwu Okafor, and Chief Vin Ezeaka of Solution Vanguard, also expressed their satisfaction with the Governor’s first-term achievements. They pledged their continued backing, stressing that ASSG’s primary goal is to ensure Soludo’s second term, which they believe will transform Anambra into a cleaner, greener, safer, and more prosperous state.
