…A new era for land management
Governor Charles Soludo has launched the Anambra Geographic Information Service (ANAMGIS), a groundbreaking system designed to simplify land administration in the state.
The platform automates land authentication and certification, making it easier and faster for residents to access land services. This initiative is part of Soludo’s broader vision to modernize governance and drive economic growth in Anambra.
Government Praises Soludo’s Leadership
The Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) has applauded Soludo for introducing ANAMGIS. In a statement, Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, also highlighted Soludo’s recent recognition as The Sun Newspaper’s Governor of the Year. Soludo dedicated the award to his team, key stakeholders, and the people of Anambra.
A History of Excellence
Soludo is no stranger to national recognition. Two decades ago, eight major newspapers named him The Man of the Year for his role in reshaping Nigeria’s financial sector as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
His latest awards include being recognized as the best-performing governor in primary healthcare delivery in Nigeria. This honor was presented by the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Aliko Dangote Foundation, the Federal Ministry of Health, and UNICEF.
Anambra Ranks Among Top States in Nigeria
Anambra also earned fourth place in BudgIT’s State of States 2024 Report for financial stability and governance. This achievement reflects Soludo’s efforts in maintaining fiscal discipline and delivering strong economic policies.
Driving Innovation and Progress
With ANAMGIS and other reforms, Governor Soludo is positioning Anambra as a model for innovation, financial responsibility, and development. His leadership continues to shape the state into a hub for investment and growth.
