Governor Charles Soludo continues to enhance Anambra State’s infrastructure with the completion of the Afor Nawfia Bypass and the construction of a new primary healthcare centre for the community in Njikoka Local Government Area.
Road Improvement Brings Relief to Nawfia Community
Daniel Okoye, President General of Nawfia, praised the newly built road, which he noted had previously been nearly impassable during the rainy season. “The road now meets 21st-century standards,” Okoye said, expressing gratitude for Soludo’s commitment to the community.
Igwe of Nawfia Applauds Governor’s Efforts
Igwe Dr. Ogochukwu Daniel Obele, the traditional ruler of Nawfia, also commended the road project, noting that it is the only road through the community and was completed in under six months. He further appreciated the Governor’s leadership in appointing two Nawfia indigenes, Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake and Chief Chinedu Nwoye, to prominent positions in his administration.
Free Education Scheme Delivers for Nawfia’s Children
In addition, Hon. Prince Chidolue John Clarance Nwankwo, Secretary of Njikoka LGA, highlighted the benefits of Soludo’s free education program, which is providing significant support to Nawfia’s children, just as it is for all 176 towns in the state.

Law Mefor, Anambra’s Commissioner for Information, reaffirmed that these projects are part of Soludo’s larger vision to transform the state and bring solutions to every corner of Anambra.
