According to the Minister, the tour aims to strengthen collaboration between the government and industry stakeholders while addressing challenges and opportunities within Nigeria’s industrial sector. He emphasized that the initiative will serve as a catalyst for industrial growth, fostering innovation and supporting the private sector, which remains a key driver of economic development.
During the tour, Senator Enoh will pay official visits to Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Ogun State Governor, Mr. Dapo Abiodun. He is also scheduled to inspect select industries across both states.
According to the Minister’s itinerary, some of the industries to be visited include Sunflag Nigeria Limited, GB Foods, FrieslandCampina Nigeria Plc, Berger Paints, Mojec International Limited, Coleman Wire & Cable, Equipment and Protective Application International Limited (EPAIL), and Veenocks Tiles.
The industrial tour aligns with the administration’s broader Industrial Revolution Agenda and the Minister’s six key priorities, which include the Nigeria Automotive Industry Development Plan (NAIDP), Special Agro-Processing Zones (SAPZ), the Cotton, Textiles & Garments (CTG) Industry, Petrochemical, Chemical & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, MSME Census, and the Industrial Revolution Work Group (IRWG).
