JMG Limited has supplied an 850kVA FG Wilson generator to Nigerian cosmetics manufacturer Blue World Cosmetics to strengthen its power supply and support growing production demands.

The project, completed in April 2026, was undertaken as the cosmetics company sought to expand its power capacity and reduce the risk of disruptions caused by unreliable electricity supply.

Blue World Cosmetics manufactures and markets a range of skincare, body-care and haircare products. Its product line includes lotions, cleansers, soaps, body washes, hair creams, conditioners and powders.

The company’s expanding manufacturing needs required additional generating capacity to maintain production schedules and ensure more reliable operations.

JMG supplied an FG Wilson P850 generator rated at 850kVA to address the requirement.

Reliable electricity is essential to cosmetics production, where equipment used for mixing, processing, filling, packaging and environmental control depends on a consistent power supply.

Power interruptions can disrupt production schedules, affect product consistency and delay deliveries. The additional generating capacity is expected to help Blue World Cosmetics minimise such disruptions while supporting its manufacturing activities.

Speaking on the project, Adamma Akpan, Area Sales Manager at JMG Limited, said the installation was designed to provide the manufacturer with the extra power capacity needed to maintain dependable production as its operational requirements grow.

The project was coordinated through JMG’s Gbagada branch in Lagos, highlighting the company’s role in providing power generation solutions for manufacturers operating in Nigeria.
