JMG Limited, a leading provider of electro-mechanical solutions in Nigeria, is marking Solar Appreciation Day with a road walk to raise awareness about renewable energy and engineering solutions for sustainability.
This event follows the company’s recent celebration of World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development (WED) on March 4. Through these initiatives, JMG continues to champion energy efficiency, infrastructure development, and clean energy innovations, particularly in solar power.
Engineering for a Sustainable Future
Speaking on the initiative, JMG Group General Manager Rabi Jammal highlighted the role of engineering in advancing cleaner, more efficient energy solutions.
“As the world embraces renewable energy, engineering plays a key role in driving innovation and progress,” Jammal said. “This road walk helps us engage the public on how engineering solutions, like solar energy, can create a sustainable future with affordable and reliable power.”
The road walk will feature participants from JMG, industry stakeholders, and sustainability advocates, all wearing branded T-shirts with messages promoting solar power, traditional power generation, electrical systems, and energy-efficient solutions.
JMG’s Commitment to Renewable Energy
Since 2018, JMG has expanded its portfolio to include inverters, batteries, and alternative power solutions.
