What if your next ride turns into a star-studded cruise in a luxury G-Wagon, with Don Jazzy in the front seat? That’s the exciting promise behind inDrive’s latest campaign, “Dream Ride with Don Jazzy,” now live in Lagos and Abuja.
Running from April 18 to 23, this unique experience gives everyday passengers the chance to be picked up in style and share a ride with one of Africa’s most iconic music producers. During these surprise trips, Don Jazzy will personally greet riders and hand out special gifts, including a brand-new iPhone 16.
As part of the campaign, inDrive is also launching a creative contest on social media. Nigerians with talent in music, dance, acting, or storytelling are invited to upload short videos vibing to a Mavin Records track. One standout winner will earn the opportunity to meet Don Jazzy in person and perform for him, a rare chance to break into the entertainment industry.
The campaign celebrates empowerment, creativity, and community spirit, reflecting inDrive’s broader mission to create real-world impact through fairness and opportunity.
About inDrive
inDrive (formerly known as inDriver) is a global ride-hailing service with more than 200 million downloads, operating in over 700 cities across 45+ countries. Headquartered in Mountain View, California, it ranks as the second most-downloaded ride-hailing app worldwide.
Launched officially in 2013, inDrive uses a peer-to-peer pricing model where drivers and passengers negotiate fares directly. This model allows the company to function effectively in both small towns with minimal infrastructure and in major cities with high competition.
inDrive charges an average commission of 5–8%, much lower than industry standards, with a capped rate of 12.99%. Payments are made directly to drivers, either in cash or electronically. The inDrive app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
