A Ghanaian farmer has shared a video on social media revealing the moment he caught an elderly man, Yaw Obeng, stealing from his farm for the third time. The farmer, visibly angry and unwilling to forgive, explained that while he had forgiven Obeng twice in the past, he would not let this theft slide.
In the video posted on X, the farmer recounted that Obeng had previously stolen plantains and palm crops from his farm. However, the third offense occurred at his fish farming site, where Obeng was caught using a wooden object to collect a large number of fish. When confronted, the elderly man pleaded for forgiveness and offered to work on the farm alongside other employees as part of his punishment.
The farmer, who expressed deep frustration over the repeated thefts, agreed to Obeng’s offer and showed him the work he would be required to do as part of his restitution. While the farmer did not immediately call for legal action, he threatened to take the matter to court if Obeng repeated his actions.
