The new offer is designed to help more Nigerians access reliable internet connectivity at a lower initial cost, particularly students, young professionals, small business owners and families who depend on the internet for work, education and everyday activities.

According to the company, customers who purchase the new Smile SMiFi will receive the 20GB activation bundle immediately, allowing them to start browsing without needing to purchase an initial data plan separately.

In addition, subscribers will enjoy 100 per cent bonus data on every qualifying Smile MINI and Smile MIDI plan for six months. The promotion effectively doubles the data allocation on eligible plans during the promotional period, giving users more browsing capacity for their money.

Speaking on the launch, Goke Olaleye, Head of Marketing Operations at Smile Communications Nigeria, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to providing practical internet solutions that meet consumers’ needs.

“Access to quality internet should not be reserved for a few. We understand that many Nigerians want reliable connectivity but are also mindful of their budgets. With the new ₦12,000 Smile SMiFi, we’ve created an entry point that combines affordability with exceptional value, allowing even more people to experience the Smile network,” Olaleye said.

Smile SMiFi Targets Everyday Internet Users

The Smile SMiFi is a portable internet device designed to provide connectivity in different locations, including homes, offices, campuses and during travel.

Its ability to connect multiple devices simultaneously makes it suitable for users who need internet access on smartphones, laptops, tablets and other compatible devices.

The company said the device can support everyday online activities such as browsing, online learning, remote work, social media, video calls and digital entertainment.

For students and remote workers, the portable device offers an option for accessing online resources outside traditional office or classroom environments. Small businesses and households can also use it to connect multiple devices, depending on their internet needs.

Six-Month Bonus Data Promotion

Beyond the initial 20GB bundle, the six-month bonus data offer is a key feature of the new package.

Customers who recharge with eligible Smile MINI and MIDI plans during the promotional period will receive an additional 100 per cent bonus data, increasing the total data available to them on qualifying plans.

The promotion is intended to provide continued value after the initial purchase, helping customers manage their internet expenses while enjoying additional data for their daily online activities.

The launch also aligns with Smile Communications’ broader efforts to expand broadband access in Nigeria by offering connectivity options designed to meet different consumer budgets and usage requirements.

Where to Buy the ₦12,000 Smile SMiFi

Smile Communications said the new ₦12,000 SMiFi device is available at Smile Shops and authorised sales channels across Nigeria.

Interested customers can visit the company’s official website at www.smile.com.ng or contact their nearest Smile Shop for further details about the device, eligible data plans and the terms of the six-month bonus data promotion.

Prospective buyers may also wish to confirm network coverage in their area and the applicable plan conditions before purchasing the device.
