Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has revealed that he took a shot at President Bola Tinubu in his song Vex out of loyalty to 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The rapper, in a post on 𝕏 on Thursday, April 4, 2025, expressed frustration over the backlash he received for the diss track. He urged Obi to promote his upcoming album, The Machine Is Coming, as a gesture of support to mend their relationship.
“Peter Obi, I even dissed Tinubu for you. Now, because of you, people are spitting on me and my legacy,” Odumodublvck wrote. “Tweet The Machine Is Coming to rekindle and redeem our friendship, sir. Do not listen to them. Listen to your heart.”
The hip-hop star added that his unwavering support for Obi during the election came at a personal cost. “The time wey I support Peter Obi na with sweat and blood. If he cannot give me a ‘common’ tweet, then me and am go fight. I no dey hide my mouth,” he declared.

Meanwhile, Odumodublvck has also shared details about the miraculous circumstances surrounding his birth.
Speaking on the Afrobeats Podcast, the Industry Machine hitmaker described himself as a “covenant child,” revealing that his mother gave birth to him at the age of 39, an age often considered high-risk for pregnancy.
