As part of the grand finale, Pastor Chris is expected to offer special prayers for families and nations. Previous editions of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services have featured testimonies from participants who attributed improvements in their health and personal circumstances to the prayers and ministrations during the programme.
The concluding session is expected to provide another opportunity for viewers to participate in the programme’s teachings, prayers and testimonies.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Shares Teachings on the Indestructible Life
During the programme, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome shared teachings from the Word of God, focusing on personal faith, the renewal of the mind and the nature of the divine life in Christ.
He explained that an instruction given to one person does not automatically apply to everyone, emphasising the importance of developing personal faith and building a strong foundation in God’s Word.
He encouraged participants to build their faith and become unshakeable in their convictions.
Referring to John 3:16, Pastor Chris discussed the assurance of everlasting life for everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. He emphasised that eternal life is not merely a future expectation but a present reality for the believer.
“It’s not a promise; it’s a statement of fact,” he said.
He further highlighted the indestructible nature of the life received in Christ, declaring, “I live by the power of an endless life, an indestructible life.”
Pastor Chris also challenged participants to change their way of thinking, stressing the need to renew the mind through the Word of God.
“You have to change your way of thinking. You have to change. You need new materials to give you new thinking,” he said.
He explained that the work of God takes place within the believer, adding that the Word of God plays an essential role in spiritual growth, renewed thinking and transformation.
“The work of God is going on inside you right now,” he stated.
Using light to illustrate spiritual realities, Pastor Chris asked, “How can you describe light?” He then explained, “Only a greater light can describe light.”
He connected the illustration to the Christian life, encouraging participants to recognise the work of God within them and consider the kind of life they desired to live.
He also declared, “Everything you do turns into success.”
Drawing from Proverbs 4:18, Pastor Chris referenced the Scripture that describes the path of the righteous as a shining light that grows brighter and brighter.
He further cited Romans 8:28, which teaches that all things work together for good for those who love God, emphasising the importance of the word “all” in the passage.
Concluding his exhortations, he highlighted the Bible’s repeated instruction to “Fear not,” encouraging participants to build their faith on God’s Word and live without fear.
Healing Streams Day Two: Participants Share Testimonies
The second day of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services featured testimonies from participants in several countries, including Seychelles, Finland, Poland, the Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka and Madagascar.
The accounts included reports of reduced pain, improved mobility and changes in other health conditions following prayer sessions during the programme.
Florence — Seychelles
Florence reportedly endured nerve pain for two years, making walking difficult. She said she often limped and needed support because of the pain.
According to her testimony, she felt a warm sensation around the affected area during Pastor Chris’s prayer session, after which the pain disappeared.
She said she could subsequently walk properly without pain.
Evelina — Finland
Evelina said she had lived with atopic dermatitis for 28 years, experiencing persistent skin irritation that caused her to scratch frequently.
Sharing her experience, she said that after receiving ministrations during the programme, she noticed that she had gone through the night without scratching her skin for the first time in a long while.
“Hallelujah! Last night, after the Man of God ministered to me on the large screen, it was the first time in a very long time that I didn’t scratch my skin!” she said.
She also reported improvements in her skin and said she had started eating some foods that had previously triggered skin reactions.
Nissi — Poland
Nissi reportedly experienced persistent, sharp pains in her lower back and abdomen.
During a prayer session led by Reverend Ray Okocha, she placed her Healing Streams magazine on her lower abdomen, held her back and prayed in tongues while believing for healing.
According to her testimony, the pain disappeared after the prayer and remained absent throughout the rest of the service.
Zinadine Tu’upou — Solomon Islands
Zinadine’s family reportedly experienced significant distress over challenges he had faced for five years, which included restlessness, wandering aimlessly and difficulty remaining settled.
According to the testimony shared during the programme, his parents continued praying for him while following the Healing Streams Live Healing Services.
They subsequently reported a change in his behaviour, saying he became calmer, regained his composure and began communicating more normally and coherently.
The reported improvement brought relief and happiness to his family.
Rajakaruna — Sri Lanka
Rajakaruna reportedly experienced pain and heaviness in his legs for approximately one year, making it difficult for him to walk up and down stairs.
During Pastor Chris’s prayer session, he said he put his faith into action at the healing centre where he was participating.
According to his testimony, he was subsequently able to walk more vigorously and move up and down the stairs with greater ease.
Malala — Madagascar
Malala reportedly had breast cancer that affected her daily activities and made it difficult to raise or move her arms normally.
During the Healing Streams Live Healing Services, she reported changes in her condition, including a reduction in the size of the lump in her breast, improved arm movement and less discomfort.
She also described feeling as though a heavy weight had been lifted from her breast and expressed hope of returning to her normal activities.
These accounts were shared as personal testimonies during the programme. The reported medical improvements have not been independently verified, and participants with medical conditions should continue to seek appropriate medical assessment and care.
