Chelsea forward Cole Palmer has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2034, with the Premier League club rewarding the England international for his contributions since joining from Manchester City.
The 24-year-old had previously been contracted to Chelsea until 2033 but has agreed to extend his stay by another year on improved terms, according to reports published on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Palmer has established himself as one of Chelsea’s key attacking players since arriving at the club in 2023, recording 91 goals in 138 appearances across all competitions.

The attacking midfielder has also played an important role in Chelsea’s recent success, helping the club win the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Speaking about his decision to sign the new deal, Palmer said discussions with the club’s ownership, sporting directors, manager and teammates strengthened his confidence in Chelsea’s direction.
“Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I’m delighted to sign and I’m obviously very happy,” he said.
“Speaking to the owners, to the sporting directors and obviously the manager, they gave me a lot of confidence so it was only right to sign.”
Palmer added that the players shared the ambition of winning major trophies and said he wanted to play a significant role in achieving those objectives.
“Speaking to players as well, everyone has the same ambitions. I feel like we win major trophies here consistently,” he said.
Chelsea have continued to secure the futures of key first-team players through long-term contracts as the club looks to build a competitive squad for the coming seasons.
Forward João Pedro has also signed a deal running until 2034, while winger Pedro Neto agreed to a new six-year contract in September.
Palmer’s extension represents another step in Chelsea’s efforts to retain important members of their squad as they pursue further domestic and European honours.
