Reports claiming that Nigerian music promoter Sam Larry has died after a tragic road accident are false, according to one of his associates.
Speaking to PUNCH Online, the associate, Mr Lilgaga, confirmed that Sam Larry is alive and currently receiving treatment after a serious crash along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in Lagos.
The accident reportedly claimed the life of his bouncer, Wale, while the vehicle was severely damaged after colliding with a trailer.
Although rumours circulated online that Sam Larry had died or might lose his legs, the associate said he spoke with him after the crash and confirmed he is alive. The full extent of his injuries has not yet been disclosed.
