Union Bank of Nigeria has successfully concluded the fourth edition of its flagship Save and Win Palli Promo, awarding three lucky customers a transformative ₦5 million each at the campaign’s grand finale. This milestone marks another chapter in the Bank’s ongoing efforts to promote financial inclusion and reward customer loyalty.

Since the inception of the Save and Win Palli Promo, Union Bank has disbursed over ₦330 million in cash and prizes, positively impacting more than 5,000 customers across the country. This initiative continues to support Nigerians in achieving their financial goals, while also fostering a savings culture nationwide.

At the grand finale event held at Union Bank’s Head Office, The Stallion Plaza in Marina, Lagos, three standout winners emerged through a transparent electronic draw process supervised by regulatory authorities. The grand prize recipients, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Isah (Zaria Branch, North), Atilabor Seikemefa Friday (Sapele Branch, South-South), and Oluranti Ogunluyi (Ilaro Branch, South-West), were celebrated in the presence of other winners, Union Bank executives, and members of the media.

Speaking at the event, Vivian Imoh-Ita, Head of Retail and SME Banking, emphasized the campaign’s long-term impact:

“Over the past four seasons, the Save and Win Palli Promo has become more than just a campaign, it has provided meaningful financial support to thousands of Nigerians. Our goal remains clear: to reward our loyal customers and support them in reaching their financial dreams.”

Echoing this sentiment, Olufunmilola Aluko, the Bank’s Chief Brand and Marketing Officer, highlighted Union Bank’s broader mission of financial empowerment:

“This promo is a reflection of our commitment to driving responsible financial behavior. We’ve seen firsthand the positive ripple effect that targeted savings incentives can create, customers are not only saving more but are also better equipped to handle economic uncertainties.”

Season 4, which ran from December 2024 through May 2025, recorded remarkable participation, with over 3,000 customers walking away with various rewards. In addition to the ₦5 million grand prizes, Union Bank distributed over ₦131 million in total giveaways, including cash rewards, tricycles, motorcycles, fuel vouchers, and more.

To qualify, customers were required to maintain a minimum account balance of ₦10,000 and carry out at least five transactions monthly. Monthly draws rewarded winners with ₦100,000 in cash, while quarterly draws offered bigger prizes like motorcycles and tricycles.
